Best Attio Alternatives in 2026: Easier, Clearer Pricing

Attio is a great CRM for teams that like to build. If you'd rather not design a data model, or you want to know what you'll pay next month, here is what else is worth a look.

The best Attio alternatives in 2026 depend on why you're leaving. If Attio feels like a project to set up, pick something with fewer decisions, like folk or Close. If the bill is the problem, pick a tool priced for the team instead of the seat. If you want AI that drafts but never sends without a person saying yes, look for an approval step, not just an assistant. Disclosure first: I'm Rafael, the founder of Xoria, which is one of the options below. I'll say where the others are stronger.

Why people look for Attio alternatives

Attio is good. I want to say that up front, because most "alternatives" lists treat the product they're ranking against as broken. It isn't.

Its strength is the data model. You can shape objects, attributes and relationships around how your business actually works. Technical founding teams love that.

That same strength is the reason people leave. Three patterns come up again and again:

  • Setup. A flexible CRM is a CRM you have to design. A founder selling between product calls often doesn't want to design anything. They want a pipeline that works on Monday.
  • Pricing that moves. Attio charges per seat, then adds credits for AI and workflows on top. That's fair. It's also harder to predict.
  • Everything after the deal. Attio is a CRM. The proposal, the project and the invoice still live in other tools.

None of these is a flaw. They're a fit question. So the useful question is not "what's better than Attio". It's "which of these three is my actual problem".

What Attio costs, as of 26 October 2026

Before comparing, here's the baseline. Attio's pricing page lists, as of 26 October 2026:

  • Free: $0, up to 3 seats.
  • Plus: $44 a user per month billed monthly, or $35 billed yearly. Up to 10 seats, 1,000 emails a month.
  • Pro: $99 a user per month billed monthly, or $79 billed yearly. Unlimited seats.
  • Enterprise: custom.

On top of the seat price there are credits. Plus includes 500 seat credits per user and 1,500 workspace credits a month. Extra workspace credits start at $85 a month for 5,000 on monthly billing. There's a 14-day Pro trial and a startup program with up to 80% off for eligible companies.

Read that list twice and you'll see the real question. What does a team of five pay once AI and workflows get used every day? The page answers it, but you have to do the math yourself.

Easier-to-use alternatives to Attio

Easier usually means fewer things to configure before the tool is useful.

folk. The simplest option here. Built for people who sell through their network. folk's pricing page lists Standard at $30 a member per month billed monthly or $24 billed yearly, and Premium at $48 a member per month billed yearly, as of 26 October 2026. Pipeline management, email campaigns and enrichment are on Standard. Custom objects and deals start on Premium. It's light by design. That's the point, and it's also the limit.

Close. Built for teams that live on the phone. Calling, email and SMS come in the box, which removes a whole tool. Close's pricing page lists Solo at $19 a user per month monthly ($9 yearly, one user only), Essentials at $49 monthly ($35 yearly) and Growth at $109 monthly ($99 yearly), as of 26 October 2026. Workflows start on Growth. If your sales motion is outbound calls, Close does that better than Attio and better than us.

HubSpot. Not easier in general, but easier to find help for. Every agency and freelancer knows it. HubSpot's Sales Hub pricing lists a free plan for up to 2 users, Starter from $7 to $20 a seat per month depending on billing, and Professional from $90 to $100 a seat per month plus a required one-time $1,500 onboarding fee, as of 26 October 2026. Starter is cheap. The jump to Professional is the part to plan for.

More transparent alternatives to Attio

"Transparent" gets thrown around. Here's what I mean by it: you can say what you'll pay next month for your whole team without opening a spreadsheet.

Three things make that hard:

  1. Per-seat pricing. Fine at two people. At five, it decides which tool you can afford.
  2. Credits on top of seats. AI costs real money to run, so most tools now meter it. Ask what happens when you run out.
  3. Required add-ons. Onboarding fees, extensions for projects or documents, a separate invoicing app.

Here's a team of five on monthly billing, using each vendor's own page, as of 26 October 2026:

ToolPlanMonthly price for 5 peopleProjects and invoicing included
AttioPlus$220 (5 × $44)Not on the pricing page
folkStandard$150 (5 × $30)Not on the pricing page
CloseEssentials$245 (5 × $49)Not on the pricing page
HubSpotSales Hub Starter$100 (5 × $20)Invoicing yes, projects no
XoriaLite$29.99 (up to 5 members)Yes

Two caveats. The cheaper tools aren't doing the same job, so compare what you'd actually use. And every number above leaves out the other tools you'd still need. A project tool and an invoicing app are often the biggest line items nobody counts.

That's the hidden tax. Five tools glued together with Zapier never shows up on one invoice. It shows up as a founder copying a client's email address between tabs at 11pm.

Attio alternatives with an AI approval workflow

Every CRM on this list now has AI. Attio's pricing page lists Ask Attio, AI agents and workflows. Close has Chloe. HubSpot has agents. folk has AI assistants.

So "has AI" doesn't separate anything anymore. The question that matters is who approves before a customer sees it.

My position: AI should draft, and a person should approve before anything reaches a customer. Not because the drafts are bad. Because the one bad email to your best client costs more than the hundred good ones save.

When you trial any of these, check three things:

  • Does it ask before it sends? A draft you approve is different from an automation you configured once and forgot.
  • Is each approval tied to one action? "Yes, send this email" should not quietly mean "yes, send the next fifty".
  • Can you see what it did? Every run should leave a record: what it read, what waited, what it produced.

If a vendor can't answer those in a sentence, the AI is a feature, not a process you can trust.

How to pick the best alternative to Attio CRM

Match the tool to the reason you're leaving:

  • "Attio is too much to set up." folk if you sell through relationships. Close if you sell on the phone.
  • "Marketing is half of how we grow." HubSpot, and budget for Professional.
  • "I want to keep Attio's flexibility but pay less." Apply to Attio's startup program first. Switching costs time too.
  • "My problem is everything after the yes." Look at tools that hold the proposal, the project and the invoice next to the deal.

Then run one real customer through your top two picks. Create the contact and the deal. Send the proposal. Start the work. Send the invoice. Count how many times you retyped the customer's name. That number is your answer.

Where Xoria fits

Xoria is the last option on that list. It's one workspace for a startup or agency: the CRM with contacts, companies, a leads inbox, deals, proposals a client accepts online and booking links, plus projects, tasks and invoices with a payment link. The AI drafts the follow-up and the next step, and a person approves before anything sends. It isn't a better pure CRM than Attio. Attio's data model goes deeper, and Close is better at calling. What Xoria does is keep the client, the proposal and the work in one place. There's a free plan at $0, no card, for up to 2 members, and the paid plans are listed with their prices.

  • crm
  • comparison
  • pricing
  • startups

Close the follow-through gap.
